After this I looked and behold a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were a trumpet talking with me; which said, come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. Rev. 4:1
I got a new door!! I had it painted turquoise!! I love it!!!! It cheers you up when you look at it!! Doors remind me of Joel! Funny I know! Joel went through the door of eternity and has now entered the beautiful city of God! Someday I think he will be standing there as I go through the door too! Maybe it will be a turquoise door, I hope, it's my favorite color!!
Have a blessed weekend!!!

Love your door!
Beautiful door, beautiful thought of your precious child. I love it! I'm certain he will be waiting for you! Bless you and your family.
Can you tell me what color that paint is? and did you glaze it or do some sort of treatment to it? I have a door that will be my daughter's headboard just trying to decide the perfect shade of turquoise....
Our story, that color is a turquoise one, something like a sky blue color. That door gives out an old-school setting to your home, ala cowboy-in-Texas!

That door is very pretty! The turquoise complements the yellow-orange tone of the rest of the room the same way that blue and orange complement each other on the color wheel. It really fits in well with the rustic motif of the entire room. Great job, and congratulations on the new door!

It seems that the door has its own special place in the room. It’s because the color is unique and stands out from the room’s other components. That may be the case, but the balance is still there. I think the reason behind that is that the paint is not glossy, which tones down the color of the door. :)
