family pictures Nov. 2009

*Anna fixed the pictures where you can click them to view them bigger now. (thats for you, Ann Parker, I love you!!!!)

After much finagling, we did it!!!!! So, after phone calls and planning for several weeks, after checking weather for days and canceling and re-calling, after finding OSU gear for everyone, after trying to fit it in with the guys work, after a flat tire as we traveled over there yesterday to meet the guys, (Micah changing tire) after Daniel not having his sweatshirt when we got there and having to buy another one, we got to do what my heart desired!!! But what happens when you get 9 guys on a football field??? They want to play football!!! We had it all to ourselves, the Morris team, except for our kind host, John! We are still OSU fans even after the big loss on Sat.

Guess what us girls did last night?????? We went to hold and hold and hold and hug and snuggle and love on Lilian Ruth, "Mavie." She is so cute, co cute, so cute. I do not know how Dave pulled this one off.......yes I do, the Lord and Kate!!!!! Just kidding!!! Dave and Kate are a beautiful couple, so they make beautiful babies!!! Last night we just needed MORE babies to hold, it took to long to pass her around!!!! I even got to change her diaper!!

This week is super busy. Anna is going to get some teeth pulled today. Tomorrow evening the older ones will practice at the Burnett's church for the Christmas canata on the 13th. Thursday, Elijah has fire training, Friday is grocery day and also we are going to OKC to a church and walk through "Bethlehem." On Saturday is Elijah's 19th BD and also Caleb, Daniel, Bethany, Elijah and Anna are playing at the end of the journey of our town's little "Bethlehem journey" on Saturday.

The guys are a bit behind schedule with the CD project because all last week they made space for us!!!! They are working hard this week and hope to finish it up, get a proof, get the cover finalized, so maybe in time for Christmas gift giving! Save some money to get one!!!

I can not help and let my mind drift to Dec. 2006. The 3rd was the dreaded day we checked Joel in the hosp. and tons of tests on the 4th and the diagnoses, cancer! It is still hard to believe! I remember everyday so clearly. Our lives changed forever. The challenges that we faced the whole month. Jesus, I just have to keep speaking his name in my heart, it is by Him through Him, that I have my being, that I have hope, that I can get up everyday, because the pain and tears are still there......always in this life!!!! I miss you Joel, I wish you could have been a football player with us yesterday!!!!

Great photo shoot!

I'll be praying for comfort for you today.

The thing that comforts me the most is that the real hard trials in this life never catch Him by surprise. He is still in control even though we feel so out of control. That thought brings my heart so much comfort and steadiness.

May it bring steadiness to your heart too.

Ahem...I have a few choice words to say about your pictures. Boomer Sooners. LOL. No, they are cute, even if they are the wrong team. :D I may live in Texas now, but I'm still a Sooner from Oklahoma.

How cool! We would love to go to the UGA field and take pics... lol How awesome that would be. Although dh and I grew up in Florida... so I guess we should be *Gator* fans... and Tim Tebow comes from there ;) I do love the bulldogs though. :)

That is so neat that you were able to do this....

Praying for you. I am sure you relive each day ... and remember. I think about you so much... and lift you up to the Lord. You encourage me over and over to keep on keeping on.

Much love, my friend.

Thanks, Anna! I have clicked and got a good up close look at all of you (without my magnifying glass). You all are such a beautiful bunch! The only thing that could have made it better was if you had been at War Memorial Park (Whoooooo Pig Sooie, RAZORBACKS). I was privileged to go to a Razorbacks game the other day. Jimmie Jean's son in law, Rob, gave us tickets. They were on the 10 yard line. Boy, could I see good. It was so fun. It took me until the fourth quarter that I realized what they were saying over the loud speaker when they announced, "That was a Razorback's" and everyone would yell, "FIRST DOWN". When I finally caught on, I was yelling with the best of em. I was like a little kid. My mouth stayed open in excitement with the football game, the band, the cheerleaders, the big screen, and everything. Tell Mauve's daddy that I bought me a $3.00 diet coke. Tell him it was worth every penny. I love you, Morris family. Ann Parker

I love these! What a fun idea!
I have a question though . . . Who takes the pics since your resident photog is in the photos?!

I also have a non-picture question. You may have answered this before and I just missed it. I know that David is your neighbor, but did you know him before that?

Wow! I LOVE your family and those are some GREAT pics!

Just stopping by to visit. I have six kids and I soooo wanted a bigger family but truthfully, I'm scared because I have my hands full for me. Some day I just wish I was more of a super mom like my friends. :( Reading your story about your sweet little guy made me want to cry. Finding comfort that he is with Jesus now.

It was nice meeting you.
