Not Much.....

It's raining...it's pouring....I am thankful life is boring!!!! Really, not much happening around here! It is raining and I am going to make a pot of chili for supper! The guys have been around the house alot. I am trying to make some preparations for our starting school next Monday. Our computer is on order, but yet to arrive. We pop in the library to check personel and business e-mails but its getting "old." Hopefully by the end of the week we'l be back up and running!

Since my reading in Joshua, its been kind of silent. I read a verse in Ps. 37, in the KJ, it said, verily thou shall be fed ( I do not have my Bible here, so its not exact) In the New King James which I rarely read, it says feed on thy faithfulness. So that is what I am doing, I am feeding on what he has done in the past and how he has been ever present and thinkning of what he has spoken to me through his word in past days. I have a phrase I say to myself....I am going to believe you!! I am forcing my will to believe when the feelings are so low and it just seems like life is going on with everyone and my little boy is gone and this trial seems like a dot on a page to the world. I am going to believe his truth though the noisome pestilance, the enemy brings doubts and tries to badger me!! I am going to believe HIM!!

Thanks for checking in, only 30 minutes here and I type so slow. After the rain....there will be sunshine.....I am going to believe that too!!!

.....THANK YOU.....
"I am feeding on what He has done in the past and how He has been ever present and thinking of what He has spoken to me through His Word in past days....." Amen to that and to all the rest as well! I need to start saying that phrase myself! "I am going to believe His Truth though the noisome pestilence, the enemy brings doubts and tries to badger me!! I am going to believe HIM!!" Our Lord is the Almighty Sovereign! I just need to believe Him and walk by faith and not by sight and go from one stepping stone to the next "After the rain....there will be sunshine....." :D 'cause He is working it all for our good! Several weeks ago I listened to a sermon on Rom8:31-39 that was very fortifying! (: It can be heard at, www.hopebaptistchurch.info/hope/Sermons/Archive.html. It's the January 27th sermon.
Glad to hear your life is peaceful! I bet you enjoy having the guys home! Have fun getting ready for school! I'm praying for you all! And again I say thank you!!!!!
Mark10:27. Luke1:37-38a "For with God nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word....." :)

What truth is shared by both your Blog and the people who comment on it.....
I like what has been said about believing in God truth from his word and having faith in his POWER the live by it. I listened to the sermon from hope Baptist church..... The truth he speaks of in his sermon is much of what has been on my heart. He puts is so clearly!!!!!
As the speaker said: Our God is my persuasion, He, his word, his power, his direction, his justification, his vision..... is a battle ship Our problems, mans demands, mans power, tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril..... are all just a Canoe compared to our mighty God.
This reminds me of something I have learned to act upon as of late. To act in the FEAR OF MY LORD over the fear of man. What joy it is to fear God and act in his biblical will..... My Lords authority trumps all earthly powers. What Freedom to know I AM in Gods hands being molded in the fear of him to do his service. So my earthly garden can be “good always, kept alive” and fruitful for his glory. It is his will NOW , that this God fearing seed be planted, trained and be given unto His glory.

Deuteronomy 6:24
And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

This was the truth then and is true “as it is this day”

The pastor also shared a hymn that is very powerful.

I give thee back the life I owe,
that in thine ocean depths its flow
may richer, fuller be.

O Light that followest all my way,
I yield my flickering torch to thee;
my heart restores its borrowed ray,
that in thy sunshine's blaze its day
may brighter, fairer be.

O Joy that seekest me through pain,
I cannot close my heart to thee;
I trace the rainbow through the rain,
and feel the promise is not vain,
that morn shall tearless be.

(tears of joy always will be)

IMAGINE..... A Vision of Fearing God as a family and the fruit that comes from that!!!!!
IMAGINE..... Acting Upon that vision!!!!!
IMAGINE..... Generations Serving the Our Lord

Thank you for letting me share a little prayer and vision of our family!!!!! Thank you for sharing yours with us.
