Garden Workshop, Great Day!!!!

A great day here today as we held our first Beginners Garden Workshop!!! I will have to say the weather was a major answer to prayer! We had sunshine, not too much wind and it was a tad cool but not unbearable. We had a total of 44 men, women and children. A good group for the first time around. Terry did a great job sharing and passing on his "trial and error" of gardening knowledge and hopefully it will be helpful to those that were here. Bethany's bread and soap sold well, Anna's cookies were grabbed up and the little fellows sold a few Cokes! I say it was successful day, and praise the Lord for His being in it all. We met new families, had a fun fellowship with already known families and look forward to keeping in touch with ones that are seeking a similar set up with farm life and growing your own stuff. I know there are many of you that expressed interest in coming but plans did not quite work and some of you were praying specifically for us today....thank you so much, the Lord heard and now lets make sure and thank Him for his goodness to us today! We have a special treat for those that could not attend, we had John-Clay (he videoed Joel's Journey) here videoing with plans to make a Garden/Farm DVD!! We are going to give you an opportunity to pre-order one at $10, saving two dollars off the regular price of $12, plus $3 shipping. We'll get that set up here soon where you can do that.
