Let God be Magnified

Psalm 130: 1-2 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice, let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Joel is hanging on to life. His heart rate is 92 this morning, and his blood pressure is 97/64. His hemoglobin is 9.9 as of the last check.

Our hearts are seeking to trust in the Lord, and crying out that he might be raised up for God's glory. We have submitted another hospital to the doctor as a possibility for transfer. We have also been told that we are on a waiting list for a facility in Bethany, OK, but they do not guarantee that he will be accepted.

In the mean time, we have been told that we are to be at the Oklahoma County courthouse today at 2:00 PM because the doctor has taken legal action against us. "edited line.............." Please pray for us that we will walk in holiness, humility, and the strength of the Lord as we seek to protect Joel.

Life is precious, and Joel continues to influence so many people. We thank you all so much for your prayers and support.

Psalm 70: Make haste, O God, to deliver me ; make haste to help me, O Lord. Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and put to confusion that desire my hurt. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha. Let all those that seek thee, rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. But I am poor and needy, make haste unto me, O God; thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.

Keeping little Joel and the entire Morris family in my many prayers and thoughts for many days now. Terry and Cindy I pray God gives you the strength and guidance to find a new hospital and doctor for Joel. I pray there is a doctor somewhere that can offer hope and wisdom to the situation. I will always remember the way Terry made his youth group understand the verse Phillipians 4:13 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' Terry and Cindy I believe through God's strength a new doctor will be found and the healing will continue for Joel.

Dear Morris family,
Though I do not know your family, my fellow pastor, Bro. Bill Stinson, has told me of your difficult providence. Please be assured that the Bethel Baptist Church family in Owasso is interceding on your behalf. I pray that God will raise up a medical doctor who still believes "first, do no harm."

Oh how I hurt with you all. Your Texas family is praying without ceasing for you all. We pray that God will hold Joel in his hands and use this situation to his will. We also pray for the whole family and the stress and strain you are enduring now. We pray for the comfort of Jesus to hold you up. I am reminded of the poem Footprints in the Sand. I love the line that describes that during the worst times in our lives Jesus carries us. I know that Jesus carries you all now.

I Love you all!
Pam
