Today Joel has a new doctor. After a very trying weekend, the Lord has given us another day and a fresh hope. We were told this morning that we would be getting a different attending physician. We have met with her and we feel that she will take care of Joel.
We also met with a committee representing the President and CEO of the hospital and we were able to express our concerns about what has happened over the last few days. The committee was very receptive and they are now discussing the meeting with the CEO and should be back with us this morning.
With a heavy heart this morning I opened up the word. Here are some of the scriptures that I read:
Isaiah 38:16 O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
Isaiah 38:19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
Psalm 118:6-8 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
Joel's blood pressure is 77/42 and his heart rate is 111 BPM. He is still unresponsive, but his color is good and he does not seem to have alot of swelling. He looks as if he is in a peaceful sleep. His skin is still soft to touch and it is a wonderful thing to hold his little hand.
We are trusting the Lord, by His mercy, to raise Joel up according to His will. It would be such a tremendous testimony for God to raise up this little blessing. The medical world says that it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
Please continue to pray, we are so thankful for all of your support.

Here again.... checking on Joel. I am so thankful for the new doctor. Praying for ALL~ God's word I know ministered to your heart.... God word is TRUTH~ please know so many are lifting all of you up in prayer. Thank you for the update...
last night I woke and began to pray for Joel. Know that we are thinking of you and talking to the Father about Joel.
