This morning I read Psalm 23. David said in verse 4, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” We have been walking through the valley for some time now, and we have found that the shepherd is faithful to his word.
Joel’s facial swelling seems to be much better this morning. His heart beat is 128 and his oxygen saturation is 93. His last blood pressure was 74/31. He is not taking his nutrition, but he did have several bowel movements yesterday. He had not had any bowel movements for some time before yesterday.
We are very grateful for all of the encouragement that we have received from all over the world. We have not been able to return all of the e-mails and etc. at this time, but please know that we are grateful for the kind words, prayers and offers to help. Hopefully, when things settle down, we can communicate with more of you personally.
Joel continues to endure this difficult trial. He is in the Lord’s hands, and we are seeking to cast all of our cares upon Him, for we know that He cares for us. Our desire and prayer is for the Lord to raise Joel up from this bed of affliction. We are trusting Him to do just that. May the Lord of heaven and earth be glorified in Joel’s life.
We need prayer for Joel’s oxygen level. It has dropped slightly before I could get this posted.

Psalm 118:14-17 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
God is still the God of miracles and we are continuing to pray~ praying that God would raise Joel up.
