two births !!!!

praying often
last two years....
pleading for their souls
joel being there,
has made it easy
to talk of heaven

and eternity

of a city, a kingdom
that we can not
see
but where he is
hearts have become more tender
the Spirit has been working
a mother praying that
we can all be together again one day.....
questions asked
talking bout Jesus daily
last night
talking with dad
knees bent
forgiveness sought
"whosoever shall call
on the name
of the Lord
shall be saved"
they did!!!
two new births
into the Kingdom!
hugs, tears (from this momma:)
rejoicing!!
they went quickly
to other siblings
and told
of their good news!!!
Hosanna 7, Jeremiah 9

So thankful for God's saving grace even unto a child! Lord willing, they desire to be baptized on Sunday and remember I told you how Andrew needed to follow in baptism too, he also told his dad he wanted to this Sunday as well!!! Grateful for His mercy!

The guys had a big concrete pour today so Dave is helping them out, Micah and Andrew too! Kate is here with us, we are finishing school up and then whats to happen after there is a mystery......no plan yet. I know we"ll fix dinner later and play VB. Its been several days since we've been with them so I am sure we'll catch up!!! Kate is growing beautifully with child!! Exciting!!!

Not much going for the weekend, truck is in the shop:( Elijah, Andrew and Caleb are taking hunters safety class all day tomorrow. Farmers Market is over. Just a weekend to play, I guess!!!

*******Don't forget the caption contest on the goat picture in the post below! Winner announced Monday at noon!!!!********

as a little child

i read two verses over the last
few days Luke 18: 17,
Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein
and
John 18:36
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world...

a little child can teach us much
i LOVE this picture
of Siah
he's going somewhere on that bike
so are those that know Christ....
......to His kingdom

to have determination
as a little child

to have faith
as a little child

to have the simple things
as a little child......

a sparkle in the eye
a smile on the face
all the while
we race
to His
Kingdom
I am so thankful
the best
is
yet
to come.....
and that i will get to see a little
child that i miss so much
in His kingdom!
because of Joel
i think of His kingdom....
almost every moment
do you?
are you going to His kingdom??
are you living for His
Kingdom??

Lets see......Thursday......school, which is going well, I do not have any complaints. Everyone is working hard and completing the days work. The guys are doing a small job close by, the big job they have been on is delayed because of the rain we have had. Next week will be a whirlwind with the State Fair. Bethany will take goats up on Mon. Show on Tues and Wed. with the Nubians. Will be home on Thurs. Then back on Friday and show on Saturday the Boer goats. Most of us will be there, Caleb, Daniel and Elijah will have to work while Terry helps with the goats. The shows are a fun thing our family enjoys doing together and mix that with a few Go-cart rides and wahoooo!!! Anna's BD is Thursday the 24th, she'll be 17!!! Her BD is going to be very low key!! As a matter of fact, I have to tell you all that I have made a "new decree!!" A person will get their last theme party at age 16 :( I asked them what age they wanted to stop, either, 14 or 16. Micah said, "16!!!" He said he needed ONE more!!! I know they have all been blessed by them and I'll miss doing them. Lord willing, I still have ALOT of parties to do!!! Oh, well.......I have to come to a halt someday!! We'll still celebrate but with a special meal, dessert and a gift.

Now how bout' a Caption Contest?!?!?!?!? Lets name this picture and we'll go until Monday 21st at noon!!! No anonymous and you can give a caption as many times as you like!!! The prize.....some Fall goodies!!!!

up, up and away........

watching the balloons go "up!!"

We were able to "send up" the balloons to Joel! I love to see Siah's face, the wonder he shows. Mercy was delighted!!! From last year to this year he has not changed a whole lot. The 2007 birthday, the first one without Joel, he looks so little. Reminds me of how little Joel really was and the battle he had to endure. This month is Pediatric Cancer Month. At the least, pray for all these children that are still in the battle, like Silas, I mentioned him several posts back. There is also a 5 yr old little girl named Kate who has a brain tumor. So many little ones. I read a bout a fellow who is now 20 years old but at age 6 and 7 he was dx with neuroblastoma (same as Joel) and has had times of no disease and now it has returned.
