a fishing derby
Our friends Dave and Vicki hosted a Fishing Derby Saturday! Our crew
had long been preparing for this event!! tackle bought, poles made ready, and lots of hopes as we set off to Reddirt Farm today! Prizes were given to the 1st, 5th and 10th fish caught. Then your name was put in the hat to win the grand prize of $40!!! Josiah caught the first and fith fish reeling in $20!! Jeremiah was given $10 for the "hardest fishing fisherman," so his name was put in the hat as well!! Mercy drew the name and it was Jeremiah!!!! He reeled in another $40 with a total of $50!!!! A beautiful day!! Thank you Dave and Vickie and grandpa and grandma Savory for hosting!!!

It's June!! My very favorite month!!!! ....and it's Friday, so a fantastic combination!! A few photos!!
Still swimming 24/7!! Ha! A few storms passed through! Made some Chocolate mint tea with herb plants from the garden.... soooo wonderful!! Flowers from terry.... Just because! And a little photo walk in the pasture!!
